RHS Garden Hyde Hall Flower Show on track for July

The preparations for this year?s RHS Hyde Hall Flower Show on July 30 to August 2 are well underway.

The four-day floral extravaganza will be held in the spectacular surroundings of RHS Garden Hyde Hall in Essex.

The show will feature 60 specialist nurseries and garden trade stands, with the chance for visitors to see mini show gardens and buy a wide range of plants and flowers as well as all the tools and equipment the home and professional gardener might need.

The sixth show of its kind will include 17 medal winners from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

New for this year is a floral art marquee showing a range of innovative displays created by local Essex flower arrangers, with some spaces still available for those who would like to take part.

Head of site Ian Le Gros said: ?We are delighted that visitor numbers have grown so rapidly over the years, and we want to build even more on this success in 2015.

?With a new floral art marquee and more than 16 new exhibitors and trade stands, it will be a fresh, colourful and enjoyable event that we hope will attract people from far and wide.?

This is also the first RHS Flower Show for new garden curator Robert Brett, who began working for the RHS in April and has an impressive track record at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, at the Eden Project and at Cambridge University Botanic Garden.
