RHS Garden Rosemoor: Free Entry!

Visitors from far and wide will have two reasons to celebrate when they go to?RHS Garden Rosemoor, in Great Torrington, on Friday 8 November. Firstly, the garden’s doors will be opened free of charge, and will also offer the expertise of leading London auction firm Bonhams, who will be at the garden to value antiques and collectibles throughout the day.

As well as enjoying the sensational autumn colours of cornus, acers, liquidambars along with many other trees and shrubs in the garden, visitors will be able discover more about the events, courses and workshops at the garden in 2014, whether it’s craft, food and antiques fairs, music and outdoor theatre, family fun days, garden walks and talks – and more!

Bonhams is one of the world?s oldest and largest auctioneers of fine art and antiques, and will be at the garden between?11am and 4pm to offer free valuations to any visitors bringing along their special possessions. Experts will be able to value all kinds of collectibles from paintings to jewellery, ornaments, clocks, furniture, and even vintage vehicles ? in fact, virtually every type of antique.*

According to Sally Charleton, Head of Site at RHS Garden Rosemoor: ?Free entry to our gardens is one of the special benefits of RHS membership, and we are delighted to extend this to all of our visitors. Autumn is such a glorious time of year at the garden, and we?re keen to share it with as many people as possible, both our regular visitors and those who may never have explored what Rosemoor has to offer before.?
