The first RHS Secret Garden Sunday Show of the year?will take place on March 1st in the RHS Lindley Hall. The exciting series of RHS shows will run on the first Sunday of every month from March to November.
The theme for the Secret Garden Sunday Show in March will be fashion and gardening trends for 2015. It will feature a fabulous floral runway with dressing up and photo opportunities, covered in stunning floral arches provided by Hot Metal Works and arranged by celebrity florist Mig Kimpton. Cordwainers Grow will be running workshops where you can dye your own silk handkerchief with plant dyes made from London-grown plants. An array of fashion and textile exhibitors will be setting up shop, and there is a full programme of talks for you to enjoy, including an exclusive preview of TV botanist James Wong?s new book RHS Grow For Flavour, with a talk from the man himself.
Taking place in the RHS London Lindley Hall and combining local, independent food producers with everything you need to grow your own, the Secret Garden Sundays from the RHS promise to get Londoners growing, eating and celebrating the best of seasonal British produce in 2015. For those looking for handy hints and tips, there will be gardening experts on hand providing advice, local and seasonal food, expert tips from top florists, and gardening and craft workshops and talks. There?s always something new to see at a Secret Garden Sunday – previously visitors have delighted in indoor coastal gardens, reindeer, and poetry yurts, and this year we?ll be giving you even more fun surprises including a special festive ?frost fair? in November.
In May and September the show joins up with London Farmers’ Markets locations – this year in Blackheath and Marylebone.
