New area sales manager for Town & Country

Gardening gloves and footwear supplier Town & Country, has appointed Vicky Shine as its new area sales manager for the south east region.

Vicky has previously worked for some of the UK?s biggest investment banks.

According to the company, she has changed career in order to pursue her life-long passion for gardening.

Town & Country chief executive Barry Page said: ?Vicky joins our company at a very exciting time in the overall development.

“The recent revitalisation of the brand – which has seen a refreshed look, new products, packaging and merchandising solutions making their way into the marketplace – is helping to create a vibrant new presence in garden centres.

“It is already delivering tangible results for our retail partners.?

Vicky?s interest in the world of horticulture began when, as a teenager, she worked at Ruxley Manor Garden Centre in Kent.
