Scheurich returns to UK market

European ceramic planter market leader Scheurich has announced its return to a direct-factory supply model for the UK, appointing Sam Bentham as UK Sales Manager to lead the operation.

The move follows the conclusion of Scheurich’s third-party distribution arrangement earlier this year. The manufacturer will now supply UK garden centres directly from its production facility in Kleinheubach, Germany, ensuring retailers retain seamless access to core indoor ranges while benefiting from a closer, more responsive relationship.

Sam Bentham, UK Sales Manager for Scheurich UK, commented: “The reaction from buyers has been really encouraging. People remember the product well—the reputation is already there. My job is simply to give them a good reason to stock it again, and I think direct supply does exactly that.”

Factory-Direct Reliability & Quality – By managing the supply chain directly from the manufacturing source, Scheurich offers UK retailers enhanced operational stability for the upcoming seasons:

  • 98% Peak Availability: Because Scheurich owns and manages its production facilities, it maintains an exceptional ~98% stock availability rate across the season, preventing empty shelves during peak trading periods.
  • In-House German Manufacturing: All ceramic ranges are produced entirely in-house under rigorous quality control, carrying a 100% waterproof guarantee that eliminates common customer return issues.
  • Agile Turnaround Times: Direct logistics from the German facility allow for highly responsive, reliable lead times, giving garden centres the agility to top up stock quickly as demand dictates.

For decades, Scheurich has been a brand trusted by consumers. In a constantly changing world, Scheurich continually reinvents itself – and this year is no exception: with the new generation joining the company, a new era is beginning. At upcoming trade fairs, you’ll be able to experience the new brand identity more vividly than ever: young, modern, and still Scheurich at heart.

The 2026/27 ranges reflect that shift, spanning mid-century modern shapes through to pared-back Scandinavian styling, alongside new prints, colours and finishes designed to give garden centres genuine points of difference on the shelf.

Accessible Commercial Terms

The direct model has been structured with independent garden centres in mind: carriage-paid orders from £500, products arriving pre-priced with suggested RRPs and full artwork, and a range of high-margin watering accessories — including the Bördy self-watering range — that consistently deliver retailer margins above 50%. Retailers retain full pricing flexibility throughout.

See the Range in Person

Scheurich will be showcasing its full 2026 lineup at two upcoming trade shows:

  • SPOGA+GAFA, Cologne: 22–24 June 2026 | Hall 9.1, Stand A-010/B-015
  • GLEE, NEC Birmingham: 8–10 September 2026 | Stand 20H 31

Buyers attending either event can arrange a dedicated walkthrough with Sam to discuss range integration for the upcoming season. Reach out directly at Samuel.Bentham@scheurich.com, or explore the full collection at scheurich.de.
