Seed Meets Technology second instalment a success

Seed Meets Technology 2015 was a resounding success with even more visitors attending than last year. With an increased focus on seeds, varieties, cultivation methods and crop protection the fair has been a popular addition to the Dutch trade fair landscape.

Around thirty companies from the Dutch seed sector made presentations last week during the show. The setup of demonstrations, trial fields and symposia on green chemistry for seeds, hydroponics and phenotyping in the future provided ample opportunity for interaction with visitors.

A quarter of the show visitors came from abroad. Various open days in the Seed Valley region at seed breeding companies ensured that an extensive programme was available for international resellers, major breeders and professionals in the seed sector. The next edition of Seed Meets Technology will take place in the last week of September 2016.

Seed meets Technology

is an annual event which takes place in week 39, this year from 25 ? 27 September 2018. The event completely focuses on the seed industry and exists of an exhibition and several trial fields. In addition to the fair, several symposia and lectures are organized. The event itself is generating more and more publicity resulting in visitors from all over the world.
