Squire’s Garden Centres appoints new group health & safety manager

Squire’s Garden Centres has appointed Jordan Howell as its new health, safety & facilities manager serving its group of 16 centres.

Jordan joins from Thames Water, where he was responsible for health & safety with specific responsibility for service co-ordination, statutory inspections and compliance across the South West London area.  Prior to joining Thames Water, he served with the British Army.  Jordan will lead Squire’s H&S and facilities matters for all garden centre locations across Surrey, Sussex, Middlesex, West London and Berkshire as well as Group Office. Sarah Squire, chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres, comments: “The well-being of our colleagues and customers is paramount. So this this is an absolutely key role within our business. Jordan brings with him great experience in compliance and a skill set well-matched to his new role. He also demonstrates great enthusiasm and a real commitment to his specialty. We are delighted to welcome him to Squire’s”.
