Start the season right with Durstons

by | Feb 24, 2022 | Promotions | 0 comments

With the start to the gardening season just around the corner, now is the time to double check that you not only have stock ready to sell but that your suppliers are also able to respond to peaks in seasonal demand. One supplier that is proudly ‘ready to go’ is Durston Garden Products Ltd.

Somerset-based Durstons – supplier of the leading growing media portfolio of products with added ‘Gro Boost’ – has been working tirelessly to ensure that the company is fully prepared for whatever the 2022 season might throw at it.

To-date Durstons has over 40% of its annual stock on the ground – thanks to the introduction of an additional packaging line – all packaged and ready for delivery into store within as little as five days for full loads, meaning retailers can rest assured that they will have stock when it is needed most. Part-loads are also available, with delivery earmarked within just 10 days.

Durstons also offers retailers flexibility regarding stock quantity with minimum order value set out at just five pallets. For those where no forklift or offloading facilities available, or where space is tight, Durstons can also offer Moffett deliveries.

Durstons sales director, Dan Durston, says: “The last two years has shown all of us that demand can wipe out stock quicker than anticipated, and in some cases quicker than most production lines can keep up with. As a result, we have taken vital steps to ensure that we are ready to meet demand head on, in turn offering our customers reassurance that we can help them to respond to peaks in demand. Whether it is our composts and soil improvers, or specialist composts, John Innes range and decorative bark, we have stock ready and waiting.”
