Steam and Moorland prepares to open extension

The family-run garden centre was establish in 2001 by husband and wife Charles and Bernadette Hopkinson and currently employs around 25 full and part time staff.
The new extension will create ten new jobs when the caf? and retail areas are open.
The project is costing around ?650,000 to build, of which the owners have put up ?200,000 with Yorkshire Bank providing a loan for the remaining ?450,000.
The new extension is expected to open in time for Easter.
