The coffee shops at Stewarts garden centres have been awarded five stars in their environmental health check for the second time in 18 months.
Stewarts has two coffee shops ? Edwards in Christchurch and Broomhill in Wimborne.
Catering Manager of Stewarts Christchurch, Linda Couzens, said: ?Customers come regularly to our coffee shops and they expect the highest of standards. All our food is freshly prepared on the premises. We make our own cakes and we even have our own herd of beef cattle.??
Linda and head chef Doug Cameron have recently completed their advanced level 3 in food hygiene.
Meanwhile at the Broomhill centre, Catering Manager Sharon Ford, Head Chef Kevin Drake and Catering Supervisor Katy Sheppard have passed their tests with flying colours.
Two of Edwards? young chefs, Jordan Garland-Wood and Josh Mondino have both recently finished at Bournemouth and Poole catering college with Jordan winning runner up of the young chef of the year.
Linda said: ?All our catering staff are trained in basic food hygiene but we encourage our staff to go on courses and to improve their skills
