STV pest control launches trade website

Award-winning pest control product supplier, STV, has successfully launched a new trade website: to support its growing distribution to independent hardware and garden retailers.

Developed after extensive dialogue with STV’s independent retail customer-base, the site aims to help new and established customers order at their convenience. It boasts a quick-order facility, with two year trading history and up-to-the-minute stock availability and pricing info as standard, and STV’s dedicated Customer Service Team is on hand to support new sign-ups with on-line instruction and training.

Marketing material including point of sale promotions are also available as downloads from the site, and STV has a short-term aim of extending its on-line support to include a training and accreditation scheme for retail staff participating in its Key Stockist programme.

The site is fully compatible with a range of browsers and mobile devices, enabling STV’s field sales team to demonstrate the online ordering facility to their customers, as well to assist with the set-up of an on-line account.

Marketing and Communications Manager, Claire McDermid, said: “We are really excited about the launch of STV’s trade website. We have invested heavily to ensure that the initial uptake by our existing customers is successful, and we believe that opening STV up to online ordering will have a significant impact on future new business development.”
