Talented local children’s artwork displayed at Millbrook Garden Centre.

Millbrook garden company invited children aged between 4 and 11 from Kent to design a poster to promote the Circus which is taking place at their Gravesend and Staplehurst Garden Centres this August.? A lucky winner from entries at each Garden centre has now been chosen and the winning designs have been turned into a poster and put on display in each of the Garden Centres.? The talented youngsters also won 2 Circus tickets each.

Congratulations to Alexandria Sickler aged 9 who was the winner at Millbrook, Gravesend and to Franki Oliva Bourne aged 7 who won at Millbrook Staplehurst.

Ross Winn, Administration and Events Manager at Millbrook says, ?Thanks to everyone who entered our design a poster competition, we were amazed at how many entries were received and really enjoyed looking at the artwork – it was very hard to choose the winner!? The winning posters look great in store and really add to the Circus feeling which is building in the Garden Centres in the run-up to the arrival of the big-top?

It can be a juggling act keeping children busy in the summer holidays but local people looking for an in-expensive treat this summer can still purchase Circus tickets at the Garden Centre or online at shop.millbrookgc.co.uk.
