Tong Garden Centre strengthens team with key appointments

Tong Garden Centre has strengthened its team with two key appointments.

They’ve joined the People and Culture and Warehouse Operations departments.
Becki Smith joins in the position of Junior People & Culture Business Partner.
Matt Kelly joins as the new Warehouse Manager.
Becki joined the team from Nuffield Health. Her role will involve attracting, retaining, developing and engaging great people.
She said: “I’m looking forward to creating an inclusive and positive workplace for all.
I believe if you have the right team you are capable of anything, and the results will follow.”
Matt joins from an e commerce company. He’ll be responsible for managing the warehouse operation and team.
“I am very much looking forward to working with a great new team” he says.
“I want to build strong, trusting relationships and make a contribution to Tong Garden Centre.”
Head of People and Culture, Neil Barwise-Carr said: “We’re delighted to welcome Becki and Matt to team Tong.
“They’ve joined us at an exciting time in Tong’s development as we plan to make further improvements to the centre. we’re driving future growth and to make Tong an even better place to work.”
When she’s not working, Becki enjoys spending time with her family and travelling. Matt enjoys walking his German Shepherds, reading and spending time with friends and family.
