Triple Event Bonanza at Hawkesmill Nurseries

Triple Event Bonanza!

Hawkesmill Nurseries are currently enjoying a triple event programme of trade events. This began at Four Oaks and continued at Glee where they were part of the new ‘Green Heart’ of Glee. The warm autumn period has enhanced the consumer’s planting season and Hawkesmill have been well placed to capitalise on this.

Larger Perennials and Herbs

Sales Director Richard Evans commented ?We have enjoyed a very busy late summer and autumn season with sales of larger perennials and herbs being especially strong, with lines such as Sedums, Crocosmia, Anemones and Rudbeckia selling out quickly. There appears to be a great deal more confidence for next season with garden centre reserves well up on this time last year?

Very popular range of Sedums

Claire Evans of Hawkesmill Nurseries is pictured at Four Oaks with Sedum Crystal Pink. This is a compact form with pale-pink flowers and is one of a range of Sedums that have proven to be very popular this summer.

South West Growers Show

This is the 3rd of the trio of Hawkesmill supported events which takes place in Exeter on Wednesday October 1st. Richard continues ?We ?are looking forward to catching up with our existing contacts and meeting potential new customers. We will showcasing our wide range of new promotions for 2015 and our early bird offers for our ranges of alpines, perennials, herbs and wildflowers.?
