TV gardeners at Buckingham Garden Centre

Not one but two TV gardening?personalities are set to put in an appearance at a family-run garden centre this weekend.

Buckingham Garden Centre welcomes Blue Peter gardener Chris Collins and BBC?s The One Show gardening expert Christine Walkden to its Festival of Fun Weekend tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday.

Instantly recognisable to younger visitors, Chris Collins will be at the garden centre from 10am to 5pm tomorrow to give advice, sign books and judge the garden centre?s ?Design and Make A Miniature Garden in a Seed Tray? competition, in conjunction with Buckingham Table.

In between Chris?s presentations, there will be a couple of magic shows to keep everyone entertained.

On Sunday, Buckingham Garden Centre welcomes Christine Walkden from 10am to 3.30pm.

Christine will be giving some instructive and practical talks, taking part in a question and answer session and signing books, as well as offering some great advice in her bubbly manner.

The garden?centre will be selling raffle tickets for its chosen charity, Breast Cancer Care, to win the chance to enjoy afternoon tea at the garden centre with one of the celebrity guests.

Winners will also receive a signed copy of one of their books as a special memento of the day.

Raffle tickets are on sale at the garden centre?s customer service desk, costing ?1 a ticket.

Winners must be available to take the prize on the day ? from 4pm tomorrow for Chris Collins and 3.30pm on Sunday for Christine Walkden.
