Webbs gives care home residents a skate time on the ice
Webbs Garden Centre welcomed care home residents onto its rink so they could have a glide around.
The residents at Housman Court in Bromsgrove were supported on the ice in their wheelchairs. They were pushed around the ice by staff and relatives.
Afterwards everyone enjoyed a hot drink and a chat in the cafe. They then headed back to the home to watch a pantomime performance staged by the staff.
A spokesperson for the home said: “This was our second year. It’s always a success and one that we will continue every year now.
“The staff at Webbs were very helpful and accommodating and always make us feel welcome.”
