Weber is changing the way people barbecue forever. The company has launched the Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub.
The Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub is the first of its kind. It offers a step-by-step grilling assistant that sends notifications to a smartphone. It advises on everything from barbecue setup, to when food is ready to flip, serve, and eat.
The Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub uses some of the most advanced smart cooking technology. It takes the guesswork out of barbecue cooking to offer precise cooking control.
Chris Scherzinger, CEO at Weber-Stephen Products LLC, said: “Having the right information at the right time is powerful. It’s the key to getting perfect results and developing your barbecuing skills.
“The Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub delivers on that promise. It enhances the grilling experience. Regardless of the type of barbecue you own, the Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub will turn it into a smart grill.
How the Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub works
Real-time food temperature monitoring After downloading the mobile app, insert the meat probes into food. Then connect them to the Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub. If using an ambient probe, place it inside of the barbecue using the grate clip provided. The probes track real-time food doneness and barbecue temperature throughout the entire cook. Information is then sent to your smartphone through the app, which is compatible with iOS and Android.
Step-by-step help The griller receives notifications on everything. The app will also prompt the barbecuer with tips and techniques to help achieve perfection.
Access to decades of grilling expertise The Connect app features a variety of programs with detailed instructions.
New functionality The programme will continue to evolve and offer new functionality and features.
Matt Van Horn, CEO and co-founder of June, said: “We started with the simple idea of using modern technology to make cooking easy for anyone. We applied that to barbecuing.
“Everyone will now have the confidence that whatever they make will come out great.
“We’ve accomplished the next evolution of cooking technology with the Weber Connect Smart Grilling Hub. It gives everyone the guidance to unlock their true grilling potential.”
