Workshop details latest in greenhouse humidity control

As part of the HDC?s GrowSave Project, a Humidity Control Workshop will be held on March 10th to detail the latest concepts in greenhouse humidity control techniques.

Held in conjunction with the Tomato Working Party (TWP), the workshop will cover evolving and recent developments such as using fan systems and switching to different humidity measures like absolute humidity or vapour pressure deficit.

The event, which is taking place at Stockbridge Technology Centre (STC), will be of interest to protected salad crop growers. The workshop will run from 1pm to 4.30pm and it will be led by Rene Beerkens, Greenhouse Climate Consultant with Hoogendoorn Growth Management in the Netherlands. Rene is an experienced climate control specialist and trainer who works with clients worldwide. He has specialist knowledge in water and energy management, crop physiology and crop monitoring.

Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
