Wyevale

A Wyevale garden centre has organised a series of summer workshops revolved around the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Wyevale Garden Centre on Cressing Road, will be holding a series of activity days for children throughout the summer holidays, all aimed at helping children appreciate the rich culture Brazil has to offer.

The events are aimed at children between the ages of three and eight.

Today sees a carnival cookies and cupcakes session, where children will be shown how to decorate and bake giant oak cakes with delicious tropical fruit.

On Tuesday a Snailympics Tray Planter workshop will help the kids create a happy home for snails to race in.

The Braintree branch of Wyevale is one 46 throughout the country who are running the Rio themed events between August 2 and August 25.

All events must be pre-booked online at www.wyevalegardencentres.co.uk/braziliant-adventures.
